About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across cloud platforms, software applications, and employee IT needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to IT administration and support.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration & IT Infrastructure
Manage and maintain proprietary & third-party applications using modern microservice-based architectures in our AWS environment.
Administer the firm’s Google Workspace account, including user and group management, shared resource management, configuration and support.
Oversee third-party software licenses, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
Implement and maintain IT security policies, including annual technology training (e.g., phishing awareness, business process continuity).
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and security.
Onboarding & IT Support
Oversee hardware management, including procurement, setup, and maintenance of company devices such as laptops, monitors, etc.
Manage systems access for employees, ensuring proper permissions and security measures.
Conduct new hire IT orientation, providing guidance on systems, software, and security best practices.
Lead IT support/help desk operations, responding to and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Programming & Automation
Use Python to automate routine administrative tasks and enhance efficiency.
Assist with scripting and workflow automation to improve IT processes.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience in IT administration, systems management, or a related field.
Familiarity with AWS, Google Workspace, Docker and IT security best practices.
Experience managing IT policies and procedures, including training initiatives.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to assist employees at all technical levels.
Experience with SBA lending technology is a plus but is not required.
